Yoon Eun Hye, the actress was descended from the girlband Baby V.O.X, now is very success in acting. She is being adored that sometimes people forgot she has been a singer.

Recently, Yoon Eun Hye’s management company has announced that she will sing after 3 years. She will take part in record the presenting song for new boyband Mighty Mouth.

The new hip-hop band Mighty Mouth has invited the famous actress Yoon Eun Hye to participate in their single album named I Love You. This is the first time she sings after 3 years from the day she left Baby V.O.X. This news made her fans really happy. I Love You is a song about pure love. The producer said that they invited Yoon Eun Hye because she has a sweet voice and has the singing experience for a long time.

Yoon Eun Hye said “I have been a fan of composer Lee Hyun Do when I was a child. Now, whenever I think I can perform her song that makes me really happy”.

Besides, the boyband Mighty Mouth hasn’t presented in public yet, but they draw much attention from people because of the participation of Yoon Eun Hye.

Yoon Eun Hye for sure will be the most prominent advertised face in the beginning of 2008. This is the result of a new tide of numerous products’ makers, who weren’t hesitating at all in paying out top dollars to invite this lovely actress to be their newest spokesperson.

After the Samsung fridge’s advertisements came out and have had positive feedbacks from the consumers, Yoon Eun Hye became a familiar household name. Recently, Yoon Eun Hye has re-appeared with the new product advertisements for the famous sunglasses’ company: Ray-Ban. The representative of Ray-Ban brand said, “The youthful and charming image of Yoon Eun Hye is really compatible with our company’s new product lines. We hope these new products will capture a fair market share in the young consumers’ division.”

Seems like there’s no need for her to worry about acting, Yoon Eun Hye is still doing very well with the incoming flood of advertising contracts. Even so, we hope she won’t neglect her main function of an actress, which is to appear in various dramas or movies.

With a start of a new year, there is an atmosphere of the member replacements in various industries. And the CF industry is no exception to this.

A number of top female stars are now giving up their titles of CF Queens to the new generation of top female stars. Since the end of last year, the advertising agencies are having difficulties deciding between the old models that are familiar with the consumers and the new models with uniqueness and originality.

For example, Lee Young-ae, who had been LG Whisen (Open the link) Air Condition’s model for last 4 years, was replaced by Jeong Ryeo-won. Jeong Ryeo-won took over Lee Young-ae’s place with Lee Seon-gyoon as her partner and some points out that she lacks the charisma to be the brand’s model while some support her by saying that the change of the model had positive effects on the image of the company.

In addition, Kim Nam-joo, who had been the Lady of Daewoo Construction Prugio for last 7 years, handed over her place to Kim Tae-hee. Samsung Electronics Zipel has also chosen Yoon Eun-hye as their next generation of models to add some fresh image to the brand.

In comparison to the advertisement of food or drink which changes their model frequently to satisfy the popular culture of the time, the construction and household appliance companies had been keeping the same model for quite a long period of time to establish familiarity between the model and the consumers. Thus this new trend in the CF industry is seen as an exceptional case.

A spokesman from an advertising agency explained, “There is no ’special’ reason or cause behind this new trend. Rather it is a result of the mutual need of many companies seeking a new and original image which was met by the rising of the new generation female stars. Despite what is being said about this new trend, the previous generation of models still have strong influence in the industry. For example, this is Lee Mi-yeon’s 7th years working as a model for Doosan Construction Company. Thus this phenomenon is just a chance event during this re-contracting period rather than the replacement of a whole generation of models as many seems to think”.

However, he also added that the new generation of female stars include Yoon Eun-hye, Jeong Ryeo-won and Kim Ah-joong will be threats to previous generation of models for quite a time because they are both original and new as well as they have already established strong familiarity with the general public.

Singers making their debuts as actors in TV dramas?

Yoon Kye-sang, Son Ho-young, Danny Ahn, Rain, Eric, Yoon Eun-hye, Ahn So-hee, Lee Min-woo, Park Jeong-ah..
This is the list of top Korean singers. Their talents and individuality attracted so many fans to fall in love with them. Sometime as a solo, and other times as a member in a group, they had been on the stage singing for their fans.

However, a whole new story kicks in when they choose the screen as their new stage. The long stagnation in music industry and the introduction of a new concept of “multi-entertainer” increased the demand for multi-talented stars who are talented in not only singing but dancing and acting as well. Consequently, these singers made acting as their second career.

For example, Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) in Director Park Chan-wook’s “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK”, Eric Moon (Moon Jung-hyuk) in “A Bittersweet Life” and “Diary of June” and Yoon Eun-hye in “The Legend of Seven Cutter” have all made their debuts in the film industry.

In addition, Son Ho-young from group g.o.d recently initiated his acting career in “Miss Gold Digger” and Yoon Kye-sang, also from g.o.d, is going to release his second film, “Lovers of 6 Years on 6th February. His first debut film was “Flying Boys”. Also Ahn So-hee from group Wonder Girls have just made her first debut in “Hellcats”, which released not so long ago.

Lee Min-woo from Shinhwa have made his debut in “Holy Daddy” and Park Jeong-ah have also made an attempt to begin her acting career in “The Perfect Wife” but her film never get shown in the cinema. Evidently, the number of singers turning to acting career or work in both acting and music industries had been rapidly increased.

The producer of “Miss Gold Digger”, Sidus FNH’s director of production, Yoon Sang-oh said, “Nowadays, singers receive acting trainings in order to prepare for their acting career. For those singers who have confident acting skills, it’s an effective marketing strategy to cast them than look for a new face”.

In fact, it is true that the popularity of these singers will enhance the efficiency in advertising the film. Director Yoon also added that the growing number of actor-singers will satisfy the high demands in the Korean film industry to seek new talents.
However, the problem is that those films starred by these singers failed to attract audiences. Except few exceptions including Uhm Jung-hwa from “‘How To Top My Wife”, “Singles”, “Marriage Is a Crazy Thing” and Yoo Jin from “Unstoppable Marriage”, many singer-actors failed to make appeals to the audiences.

On the contrary, the TV dramas starred by these singer-actors became huge hits. Examples include Rain’s “Full House” and “Sang Doo! Let’s go to school”, Eric’s “Revenge” and Yoon Eun-hye’s “Coffee Prince”. And many of them can be seen in various entertainment shows as many music programs have closed down.

There’s no doubt that the TV viewers are familiar with these singers. However they aren’t strong appeal as a main character in a film. Director Yoon said, “If the audience see these stars as actors rather than singers, they will be satisfied with their performance. But we don’t have such atmosphere yet”.

However, many critiques agreed that the singers should continue to make their debut into the film industry. Because the “actor shortage” phenomenon and the need of these singers to extend their career is closely intertwined and provide solutions to each problems.

윤은혜 “소주 못마시고 폭탄주 즐긴다”

지난해 MBC 드라마 ‘커피프린스 1호점’으로 많은 사랑을 받았던 배우 윤은혜가 신체에 대한 불만을 털어놨다.

2월 1일 방송된 MBC ‘섹션TV 연예통신’에서는 윤은혜의 의류 화보촬영 현장을 찾아 그녀의 다양한 매력을 소개했다. 이날 역시 깜찍하고 발랄한 포즈로 한껏 매력을 발산한 윤은혜는 “혹시 변하고 싶은 신체 부위가 있냐”는 질문에 “몸무게”를 꼽았다.

누구보다 날씬한 몸매를 자랑하는 그녀지만 몸무게의 변동이 심하다는 것. 윤은혜는 “제발 몸무게가 고정됐으면 좋겠다”며 “조금이라도 스트레스를 받으면 하루사이에도 2kg 정도가 왔다 갔다 한다”고 털어놨다.

이어 윤은혜는 자신의 주량을 공개하기도 했다. 얼마 전 한 설문조사에서 가장 술을 잘 즐길 것 같은 여자연예인 1위로 뽑힌 윤은혜는 이같은 결과에 대해 “술이 그렇게 센 편은 아닌데 정신력으로 잘 버티는것 같다”며 “소주는 못 마시고 폭탄주를 즐긴다”고 깜짝 고백해 시청자들의 눈길을 끌었다.

한편 윤은혜는 “지난해 큰 사랑을 받아서 무척 행복했다. 올해에도 그만큼의 사랑을 받을 수 있도록 열심히 하겠다”며 새해를 향한 당찬 포부를 밝혔다.

- YEH answered: “my weight.. i wish it was just a fixed number” she also added that, “whenever i get even the least amount of stress, my weight fluctuates 2kg’s in the span of only a day”
