베이직하우스는 TV와 스포츠에서 각각 최고의 위치에 오른 두 스타를 기용, 국내뿐 아니라 해외에서도 베이직하우스의 위상을 강화한다는 전략이다.
윤은혜와 박태환은 2007년 지난 한 해를 빛낸 주역.
윤은혜는 드라마와 CF를 종횡무진하며 가수에서 국내 대표 연예인으로 자리매김 했으며, 대한민국에 첫 수영 금메달을 선사한 마린보이 박태환은 대한민국을 넘어 세계적인 스타로 발돋움했다.
조 환수 베이직하우스 상무는 “윤은혜와 박태환이 각각의 분야에서 최고가 되기 위해 보여준 열정과 건강한 매력이 베이직하우스의 이미지와 잘 어우러졌다”며 “두 스타와 함께 2008년 베이징 올림픽과 드라마와 스포츠에서 불고 있는 한류열풍을 활용한 다양한 마케팅을 펼쳐나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.
한편, 베이직하우스는 올해 베이직하우스의 제품 라인을 새롭게 정비하며 글로벌 브랜드로 발돋움 하기 위한 발판을 마련했다.
티셔츠와 면바지 등 베이직한 라인의 품질을 강화하고, 각 시즌 별 트렌디한 디자인을 선보이는 트렌디 라인을 별도로 운영하며 데님 라인을 분리, 강화 해 각 고객의 니즈에 맞는 서브라인을 선보일 계획이다.
