Yoon Eun-hye Learns to Ride Bicycle for ‘My Fair Lady’

Yoon Eun-hye, who plays Kang Hye-na, an unbelievably arrogant heiress, in the latest drama “My Fair Lady,” has ridden a bicycle for the first time in her life for the drama.
In a shooting location in Damyang, South Jeolla Province on September 8, Yoon shot a scene where her character learns to ride a bicycle from Seo Dong-chan, played by Yoon Sang-hyun, after procrastinating for a long while.

Yoon had never dared to ride a bike because she was too afraid of getting hurt. But this time she was determined to do anything she could for her role, and did so happily while shooting the scene for three to four hours.

Meanwhile, in the scene, Hye-na found riding a bicycle so enjoyable that she did not even notice she was bleeding on her knee. Dong-chan helped her keep her balance from behind at first and let go of the bicycle at one point. Not knowing he had let go, she pedaled hard but did not fall down. She was finally able to ride it on her own, and the two gave each other a congratulatory “high five.” This served as an opportunity for their relationship to become more intimate.

Expectations are running higher as a love triangle between Hye-na, Dong-chan and Lee Tae-yoon (Jung Il-woo) is about to develop in earnest.

Lady Castle : EPISODE 1

This is Hae-na’s “castle,” the huge mansion run by a staff of good-looking maids and menservants. Hae-na has a strict list of things she cannot abide, and the first mistake (like accidentally pulling a stray hair when fastening a hairpin) can get a person immediately fired.

designer and has grown up like siblings with Suh Dong Chan (YSH) as
she’s always been there for him, worrying and trying her best to get his life on track.

-He loves his grand daughter (Hye-Na) and regards her as his one true blood relation.
But he brought her up in a strict environment to make her strong. However, he regrets
not having shown her his love and warmth. He wants to make her the rightful heiress to his
company so that not one person can refute her. But to do that he has to do 2 things:
1. find her a house-keeper (taking place of House-keeper Jang once he leaves) – who
will protect her and 2. find her a husband – who will love her for who she is.

Hye-na’s uncle (Father’s younger brother). managing director of Kang-San Group,
and has the scheming ambition to make this company his own. Although he has
the role of the so-called “villian”, Kang MD also has a somewhat misplaced comical
element to himself, which will add vitality to the drama.

Hye-na’s aunt. no. 1 mum when it comes to vanity and indulging in luxury.
Having had an addiction to plastic surgery, she has a totally different face from her childhood
and is nothing more than a thoughtless, imprudent woman.

Hye-na’s cousin

son of Kang Hye Na relatives, who is constantly eying her spot as the next heir to the family fortune.

Of the high-rolling top ‘hot celebrities’ of the wealthy upper class in Korea’s high society, Kang Hye-Na (Hena) is the one desired by the men, feared and hated by the women. Being the only successor to the largest conglomerate company, Kang-san Group, Kang Hena has both the looks and the background. She is the owner of the ‘Lady Castle’ and lives a ‘princess-like’ life with her servants. Losing both her mother and father in a plane crash at a young age, Hena had a lonely upbringing living under the care of her stringent grandfather. Despite being brought up receiving princess treatment with everything she wanted, throughout her upbringing, Hena neither knew nor felt the emotional warmth from family and friends. For this reason, Hena is overtly indifferent and oblivious to others’ feelings and situations and sees that the world only revolves around her. Whenever she opens her mouth, the words “Shutup! Get lost!! Get over it!!!” spill out, no matter who the person is. Hena possesses skills leveling any national representative when it comes to horse riding, fencing and clay shooting. Yoon Eun-hye focuses on drama before movies

Yoon Eun-hye has refuted rumors that she is taking on a new movie, saying that she is concentrating her efforts first to the drama series Lady Castle.

What is the meaning of this “Best Jewelry Lady” distinction awarded to television actress Yoon Eun-hye? I have no idea. I just know that that’s what the Coffee Prince actress was named at the Korea International Jewelry & Watch Fair 2009, which she attended on April 30.

Coffee Prince gets a movie version

A producer confirmed that rights have been acquired to adapt the novel into a movie (fyi, the Coffee Prince novel came first, after which the original novelist also wrote the drama). Since this will be the third version of this story to be told, the rep said that “the movie will show a different story from the drama.”

After the script is completed in May, the production will begin casting for its characters of Go Eun-chan, Choi Han-gyul, and the rest. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for Yoon Eun-hye and Gong Yoo to reprise their roles (it would be great, but I wouldn’t want to get too excited), but the producers aren’t ruling out that possibility, either. Both scenarios are possible: either the old cast will be invited to return or, barring that, they’ll cast with new actors.

This is apparently the second instance of a drama being adapted to film format, following the sageuk series Damo which was turned into the film version Duelist. (The opposite scenario is more common, where films are adapted into dramas, such as with Tazza and Gourmet.)

Part of the drama Coffee Prince’s charm was its wonderful directing by Lee Yoon-jung, and with a different PD behind the camera, the end product may end up with a very different feel. Still, I’m excited nonetheless — I loved the drama and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the novel, and I certainly don’t need this movie to be a direct replica of the drama.

The production’s plan is to begin filming in October, and aim for a February 2010 release, with simultaneous premieres in Korea, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.

Yoon Eun Hye Seemingly on Family Outing

Even though Yoon Eun Hye has never appeared on SBS Family Outing, it’s like she is on the show anyway. The frequency of her name being mentioned has increased since Kim Jong Kook’s participation as a permanent family member. It has gotten to be like a ritual in recent weeks thanks to continuous fabrication of love scandal rumors between Kim Jong Kook, Park Ye Jin and Lee Hyori by Dumb and Dumber duo, Yoo Jae Suk and Daesung especially.

Yoon Eun Hye’s name cropped up again in the 5th April episode of Family Outing. As soon as Kim Jong Kook arrived in Sungjoo village, Kyungbuk, the family members said, “Yoon Eun Hye came to Kim Jong Kook’s concert last time”, and “Why weren’t we mentioned?”. To which Kim Jong Kook replied, “There were other celebrities who came too”, to clear the situation but it didn’t make Lee Hyo Ri nor Park Ye Jin feel any better.
