What is the meaning of this “Best Jewelry Lady” distinction awarded to television actress Yoon Eun-hye? I have no idea. I just know that that’s what the Coffee Prince actress was named at the Korea International Jewelry & Watch Fair 2009, which she attended on April 30.

A producer confirmed that rights have been acquired to adapt the novel into a movie (fyi, the Coffee Prince novel came first, after which the original novelist also wrote the drama). Since this will be the third version of this story to be told, the rep said that “the movie will show a different story from the drama.”
After the script is completed in May, the production will begin casting for its characters of Go Eun-chan, Choi Han-gyul, and the rest. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for Yoon Eun-hye and Gong Yoo to reprise their roles (it would be great, but I wouldn’t want to get too excited), but the producers aren’t ruling out that possibility, either. Both scenarios are possible: either the old cast will be invited to return or, barring that, they’ll cast with new actors.
This is apparently the second instance of a drama being adapted to film format, following the sageuk series Damo which was turned into the film version Duelist. (The opposite scenario is more common, where films are adapted into dramas, such as with Tazza and Gourmet.)
Part of the drama Coffee Prince’s charm was its wonderful directing by Lee Yoon-jung, and with a different PD behind the camera, the end product may end up with a very different feel. Still, I’m excited nonetheless — I loved the drama and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the novel, and I certainly don’t need this movie to be a direct replica of the drama.
The production’s plan is to begin filming in October, and aim for a February 2010 release, with simultaneous premieres in Korea, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.

Even though Yoon Eun Hye has never appeared on SBS Family Outing, it’s like she is on the show anyway. The frequency of her name being mentioned has increased since Kim Jong Kook’s participation as a permanent family member. It has gotten to be like a ritual in recent weeks thanks to continuous fabrication of love scandal rumors between Kim Jong Kook, Park Ye Jin and Lee Hyori by Dumb and Dumber duo, Yoo Jae Suk and Daesung especially.
Yoon Eun Hye’s name cropped up again in the 5th April episode of Family Outing. As soon as Kim Jong Kook arrived in Sungjoo village, Kyungbuk, the family members said, “Yoon Eun Hye came to Kim Jong Kook’s concert last time”, and “Why weren’t we mentioned?”. To which Kim Jong Kook replied, “There were other celebrities who came too”, to clear the situation but it didn’t make Lee Hyo Ri nor Park Ye Jin feel any better.

It has been almost 2 years since we last saw Yoon Eun Hye acting in Coffee Shop 1st Prince. Since then, she has done nothing much other than appearing in CFs, photoshoots and going for vacations. Most recently, she collaborated with Korean fashion house Joinus to design a series of clothes named after her for their summer catalogue. Yoon Eun Hye personally took part in the designing of the clothes which will go on sale on 10th April.
According to a Joinus representative, Eun Hye has got the potential to be a fashion designer based on what she has churned out for the summer catalogue. And because of her competence, Eun Hye will be involved in the designing process whenever a new season comes along until the end of 2009 and all of the designs will be named after her.
Wow she’ll be multitalent artist

During the game of holding a full water bucket over the head, Park Ye Jin herself asked Kim Jong Kook with annoyance, “I’m not Yoon Eun Hye but can you lend me your waterproof jacket for a while?”. Seeing Park Ye Jin in his clothes, Kim Jong Kook said, “Cute”. Afterwards the other family members started spreading words on the fake scandal and Kim Jong Kook said, “I’m saying that the clothes were cute.” Park Ye Jin then turned to him in anger, “It wasn’t me but the clothes then? No matter what I do, only Yoon Eun Hye would do?”, adding to Jong Kook’s exasperation.
The day’s guest family member, Kim Won Hee also joked around, “If I were Yoon Eun Hye, who would you lend your jacket to between Park Ye Jin and me?”, as everyone burst into laughter. Park Ye Jin then replied, “I don’t want to know his choice.” The resolute Kim Won Hee then asked, “Are you afraid to know the result?”
Later on, Won Hee teased Jong Kook about lending Ye Jin his jacket, “I’m Kim Eun Hye. Lend me your clothes too”, and brought much laughter with what she said.

It was a day of mixed fortunes for Yoon Eun Hye and Park Shin Yang plus their fans on 6th April. On this day, the Korea Television Drama Production Company Association had lifted the suspension on Lee Kim Productions, which thus cleared the way for Lady Castle which Eun Hye had agreed to appear in to be produced. But this decision heaped more misery on Park Shin Yang as his indefinite ban continued and his reputation taking another hit.
For the record, Lee Kim Productions who is producing Lady Castle was the one who had caused Park Shin Yang to be suspended indefinitely by the Korea Television Drama Production Company Association last year after they refused to pay his unpaid wages. This also led to a ban for future dramas under Lee Kim Productions to be shown on the 3 major Korean tv broadcasting stations and was the main reason for the delay over Lady Castle as it was kept on the backburner.
The statement from the Korea Television Drama Production Company Association expressed that Lee Kim Productions was merely a victim of the whole debacle (Park Shin Yang indirectly shoulders the entire blame now, visit this link to help lift the ban) and thus asked for the blanket ban on Lee Kim Productions from producing dramas to be shown on MBC, SBS, KBS to be lifted with immediate effect.
Lee Kim Productions representative Jo Yun Jung expressed that they were very happy that the whole matter has been resolved and are now confirming the broadcaster, with a decision expected very soon. All 3 tv stations are fighting hard because it’s Yoon Eun Hye and the high ratings that she brings. The drama will most probably be aired in the second-half of 2009 and is Eun Hye’s comeback drama in almost 2 years after Coffee Shop 1st Prince. Only Eun Hye has been confirmed for the drama thus far but things are going to be accelerated now since the ban has been lifted.
Lady Castle is a story about 3 daughters and the inheritance left by their father. Their lifestyle is disrupted after a poor man disguises himself as a housekeeper/manager of a rich house with an eye on the family’s hidden slush fund. He falls in love with the haughty second daughter (of three), Noh Yura, played by Yoon Eun Hye. Noh Yura is a lady who possesses a goddess-like beauty. She is strong-headed, selfish and the world revolves around her, where all things must go her way. Yet, Yura is lonely and longs to be loved, and for this, Yura is weak in front of true love and is one who you cannot help but love.

“Coffee Prince” starlet Yun Eun Hye recently left Kraze Entertainment and joined a new management company called “Company of the House.” This new entertainment company was only incorporated in September and it was founded by Yun Eun Hye’s former manager.
It’s obvious that Yun Eun Hye is trying to follow the footsteps of her sunbaes Rain, Jang Dong Gun, Bae Yong Joon and the likes by starting her own entertainment company, but does she have enough star power to pull this through? That remains to be seen as she has yet to find a new job for herself since “Coffee Prince” other than photoshoots here and there.

The article’s talking about how a number of stars, are at the stage where their contracts with their respective management agency’s have either come to an end or soon to be coming to an end.
The main “hot potatoes” being the A-list stars, JDG, YEH and GHJ.
YEH’s contract with her current management company (Krazen Entertainment) has now come to an end.
YEH who is one of the biggest, most influential players currently in the CF industry is deciding on whether she should continue on with her current management or move to a different company.
YEH and her decision is of great interest in the FA market, and is being referred to as the “hot potato”.
